Motivation V’s Willpower

Motivation is like brushing your teeth, it needs to be done daily to refresh the enthusiasm. You can be really motivated to follow a well balanced diet and it just takes one grumpy person to make you turn and grab a block of chocolate or some hot chips to make you feel better.

Willpower runs much deeply than motivation and comes from the bottom of your gut, and involves your deepest feelings and emotions. You can say to yourself that you want that block of chocolate but when replaced with something more important – you’ll create willpower. For example you might want that block of chocolate but you want to be 10 kilos lighter more for your upcoming Hawaiian holiday. This will make you not want to eat the chocolate and stay on your goals with your willpower burning a deep fire to achieve the desired result you are wanting.

Take a moment to really discover what your current health and wellness goals are, be specific and then work out what is preventing you from achieving this and create a steam train of willpower to achieve your goals.
